We’ve sold out of our Vancouver Canadians Baseball tickets!  Another great Shinerama fundraiser underway.  Thanks to all for your support and see you at the game!

We are selling tickets to the Vancouver Canadians baseball game happening at Nat Bailey Stadium on Sunday August 28th at 1:00 pm! If you’ve never been to a live game, it’s a must and full of action and entertainment. Check out their website here.

Global Village Day is the We Love Vancouver Festival’s largest event and is being held at UBC with all proceeds going to Shinerama and the fight to cure Cystic Fibrosis. Global Village Day is September 11th this year and events get started at 1:00 and go until 9:00 pm.  Events will include a variety of musical and dance performances as well as an Arts Market and Kids Zone.

Hold on to all your refundable drink containers this August long weekend, we are doing a bottle drive on August 3rd!

If you hold on to those bottles and e-mail your address to shinerama@ams.ubc.ca we will come by in our truck and pick them up for you on August 3rd.  Then just like that all your bottles are taking care of, you won’t have to make any trips to the Bottle Depot and you’ve helped support a great cause!

The Shinerama UBC team will be out in force each night during the Celebration of Lights fireworks selling glow-sticks and spreading the love. Look out for us at Kits beach!

Hello from your UBC Shinerama 2011 team!

We have a lot of fundraising activities planned towards reaching this year’s goal of $36,000! Last year we raised $32,000 for cystic fibrosis to add to the national total of over $1,000,000!  Up-coming activities will be outlined shortly.

In the meantime if you have any questions or are interested in supporting the campaign in some way, please contact shinerama@ams.ubc.ca.
